This is my attempt at participating in the awesome Wednesday Walk by our good friend Jay from #teamusa! I figured I would take a quick shot of my **feet's** (all of them lol) to give a "walking vibe". I had planned to create a **Thoughtful Daily Post/Wednesday Walk Series back on our legacy chain. But sadly, I never did... I could walk a lot better back in those days. Regardless... those of you that know me, know I do not give up! So I went for a quick walk out in the yard, and invite you to come along with me! <center></center> <br> <center>  </center><center><sup>Taken with **Samsung Galaxy S9** || Edited with [LunaPic](https://www6.lunapic.com/editor/)</sup></center> <br> Straight out the door, as it were! Down the steps on the porch really... on my left, is our little "flower display" we have made. It is a continuously evolving labor of love we keep re-creating! But we like it because you can see it as soon as you head out to the yard... just past this is where we park our vehicles. We will hang up our *Hummingbird Feeder* soon, so that will be an added bonus to watch them as they fly in to feed on the feeder... love to watch them and their "furiously" beating wings! Makes me think of watching *Tinker Bell* with the grandkids. We actually used to have this arbor set up in our front yard. But it was getting too hard to mow around it. So we moved it to beside our garage. We have some *Morning Glories planted on both sides of the said arbor, in hopes that they will grow up on both sides (trellis up); I have always loved how plants and vines do that. Gives me the whole [The Secret Garden](https://www.tcm.com/tcmdb/title/1828/the-secret-garden/#overview) vibe... moving along now to the sideyard!! ____ <br> <center></center><center><sup>Taken with **Samsung Galaxy S9** || Edited with [LunaPic](https://www6.lunapic.com/editor/)</sup></center> <br> I know... kind of a boring photo of some kind of budding "thing" lol. But this is our *"Double Pink Chiffon: 'Rose of Sharon'"* bush we planted last year. We were concerned the winter's cold hit it... but I think it is going to end up being quite beautiful again! You might remember from one of my previous posts, that I shared a photo of the newest little flower bed design we made. I will have to try and go back and find the photo. But with any luck, it will all bloom out again; it will give me an excuse to write another post! <center></center> <br> <center></center><center><sup>Taken with **Samsung Galaxy S9** || Edited with [LunaPic](https://www6.lunapic.com/editor/)</sup></center> <br> I tried taking a photo yesterday of these butterflies. They love our *Creeping Flox*, but the butterfly yesterday had obviously got in a fight with a bird or something... its wings were all tattered, and its body was half-eaten up... I know they are just *insects* but I can't help to feel sorrow for them when you see them all half-eaten up like that. It is indeed, the **Circle of Life**, but darn it... they are pretty! (Yes... I have used the word "pretty" in a post again lol). We had several different types of *Creeping Flox* out in our yard, but they got frost burned I think... will need to get some more! But to get a chance to catch a butterfly "not" flapping his wings is rare here... so I was happy to be able to do so... and share it with you all! I have shared these with you before. but each time I go out in the yard and see them flowering, I am immediately taken back to swinging at my grandmother's house... to better days when things weren't so "crazy" in the world (or at least to my young naive mind anyway). We had hoped they would have been just a little bugger by now... we got the *Lilacs* around the same time as we purchased some *Thornless Roses*... which incidentally, became thorned roses lol. Nature does, what nature does... yes? ___ As is my usual habit, I like to help elevate the awesome of others... and so, I like to share a post from another HIVE'ian that has used the #wednesdaywalk TAG.
