Welcome back to our Monthly Recap of [SteemSTEM PROMO](https://steemit.com/science/@whack.science/i-will-reward-and-promote-you-to-30k-people-while-promoting-steem-by-the-way-sounds-perfect-it-is) project. This is the 3rd recap and we're slowly building a good database to learn from and see how it can help Steem Blockchain, Steem science community and @steemstem.

Every week, I'm posting [Weekly Recap](https://steemit.com/steemstem/@whack.science/week-8-recap-steemstem-promo-insights-results-and-winners-of-2-5-steem#comments) post from which I gather data for this recap.

I'm also trying to onboard people so I wrote a post about [STEEM Blockchain and Steemit](https://steemit.com/steem/@whack.science/promo-to-fb-the-guide-for-newcomers-what-is-steem-blockchain-and-steemit) and a [STEEM Starter Pack](https://steemit.com/steem/@whack.science/promo-to-fb-steem-starter-pack) post for newbies and those who are still not on our blockchain.

With a good approach and right guidance, I believe we can make this project bigger in terms that we will interest more people. I want you to know what interests most people on Facebook. That's 3 things:

- interesting article
- good title
- good thumbnail

I believe if we try to improve these 3 things, a lot of things can change in a good way for us. We are promoting this to 35k+ people so imagine if we go viral and draw some interest from the wider public. 35k people on FB is not that big of a deal but if we catch *the good wave of engagement of FB algorithm* then we have a possibility to go viral and that's where things can change for us, a lot.

Think about your blog, how well you write it and how does it look like. But, don't get me wrong. So far, I'm enjoying what we're doing and the engagement is better than I thought so. So, let's see our recap and how we did it in the last 4 weeks.

Let's see how we did in week 9-12 and then calculate the total. Doing that, we will compare that total with the total of last Monthly Recap of week 5-8.

After that, we will calculate a Post Average and compare it also to last week's Post Average. Let's get it on! :D

As you can see, our reach is getting better. Now, this doesn't mean that we're going to constantly grow but if we have a steady growth that's good. Everything is good as long as we keep promoting our blockchain! ;)

This month we had 20 posts that we promoted. This is a standard number because every week I promote 5 posts and give a 2 day off to my FB followers. This way, we're not too pushy and it seems that it's working so far. Let's keep it going!
