Woot. If you have not been following Disney is trying to buy Fox and its content but has to compete with Comcast. Fox comes with a lot of properties and with Disney wanting to compete with Netflix they could use the content to fill out their new streaming service. Comcast has outbid their first offer but Disney is coming back strong with over 70 billion dollars. It has been accepted by Fox and now we wait to see if their will be a counter-offer.

All the geeks want Disney to win this. The reason is to expand the MCU. Fox has the film rights to the x-men and Fantastic Four, two large franchises in the Disney world that have been missing from the marvel movies. That is why they are not a part of the Thanos story line. When the next Avengers is up they will be starting another long story ark that should last 10 years. This will probably center around these new characters. And you will be able to see cross-overs with characters like Wolverine and Storm.

Oh and this also includes Aliens and Avatar too. Plus a bunch of other franchises.
