Who here is into crypto and how long have you been into it?

I got in before the run in 2017, closer to the start of the year. I liked the idea of a digital currency but it was sites like Steemit that were paying for content that got me interested. I remember people were making a lot of steemit and after doing research on crypto I could see the huge potential to change social media and payment for content creators.

I bought some coins and followed the market like everyone else and posted on steemit to earn as many coins as I could. Then the bull run hit and it was crazy. Coins were hitting highs overnight and it we got drunk on the possibilities. We were talking crazy gains everyday and it didn't seem to stop. The smart people sold (I made some really good profit but wish I sold my steem). Then the dip hit. People didn't panic at first, there was a nice bounce and a chance to recover.  But after that everything tanked. 

Since the ATHs we are looking at 95-99% lows. As bad as this looks if you zoom out you see crypto is still up over the years. But if you bought anytime in 2018 you are probably holding  right now. I picked up some coins when we were at 6k for bitcoin not aware of the big 3k drop to come. I didn't sell during that time.

I am still here after the drop. The crypto world has come a long way and dapps are a lot more advanced then they were two years ago. I do not know where the prices are going but I do think crypto is here to stay. And sites like Steem Leo can really help content creators.
