The owner of Bitcoin investment trust, Grayscale offers a competing product in the marketplace, while others such as the Winklevoss brothers have proposed ETF funds targeting retail investors. Bitcoin investment trust shares are listed and traded on OTC markets. CyberTrust’s GCNs will compete directly with Bitcoin investment trustnotes. The Winklevoss Bitcoin trust owned by the Winklevoss twins made an attempt to register BTC as an ETF structure. It was rejected by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). 


Global crypto note have an ISIN and a titled security claim to the underlying crypto asset. Global crypto note can be audited by accounting firms. It can be used as a collateral within a regulated financial framework and will be cleared & settled via Clearstream Banking S.Anot through crypto exchanges. That means, any bank around the globe within t+3 can get all titled rights transferred to the custody of their applicant. The underlying assets for global crypto note are off chain. Within the custody period, global crypto note ownership can be frozen by Luxembourg courts and are subject to Luxembourg sovereign governance.
