Hey my Steemian family! Alas, I do no longer find myself basking underneath the sun by our pool in Thailand, I'm back to sub-zero temperatures in my beloved Stockholm, Sweden. *The contrasts in lifestyle are needless to say huge.* I'm also writing to you from what I refer to as a personal hell week (referring to the Navy Seal's program). And I don't mean that in a negative sense, but rather as an immense challenge due to it's anomaly in workload even for me. Under the course of this week (8 days to be exact) I'm writing three heavy exams in Computer Science and Machine Learning. This combined with work, exercise, self-studies & Steemit, needless to say pose a huge mental challenge (and time-management). Don't get me wrong, I could probably take a week of work and my other goals but that's not my cup of tea. Just as I love to push myself physically, I love to push myself mentally as well, that's when the serious growth happen, that's when the serious mental gains occur. In my experience, just like the body, in order to take your mind and growth to the next level, you need to give it occasional challenges relative to your current workload. Something I've fell prey to myself in the past is as you venture upon the path of conscious growth and you start to improve, you reach these plateaus where you seem to forget that in order to get to the next level, you need to do what you did to get to your current; **TAKE ACTION, CHALLENGE YOURSELF.** *When was the last time you really broke your mental comfort zone and really started pushing to get to that next level?* Next Monday my hell week will come to its end and I will stand victorious. The Tuesday that follows I will venture to my home town of Gothenburg and for 6 days I will do absolutely no work and no studies. Just like at the gym you got to rest those muscles and let them grow and recover. Today, I finished exam 1/3, and thus have two more to go. Friday will be a joyous day due to the fact that I will celebrate my good friend IvanOnTech (@ivanli) and his achievement of reaching 100k subscribers on YouTube. So we will have an amazing dinner which will serve as a great energy source. Otherwise, let's crush it together this week Steemit, shall we? --- Taking short breaks between my work & study-sessions I try to walk outside as much as possible, I find it key to maintain a high productivity throughout the day, below are some beautiful pictures I've snapped during those walks. Although Sweden this time a year may be cold and dark, it is also amazingly pretty. Enjoy these pictures and see you later this week. ๐ฏ --- *Do you aim to become the best version of yourself and enjoy topics such as self-development, travelling, fitness, philosophy & vlogs?
