 <br/> # Hello my dear Tasteem lovers, Food, who doesn't love food? Everybody I know loves to eat food, especially good affordable delicious foods. My weekly choice for this week are having fusion food at one of a local restaurant that is operated by one of the locals in my region. It is actually a small cafe, where they serve coffees, teas and a good blend of fusion food. This is my weekly choice at "The **B** Side" Restaurant/Cafe. I took my family to have dinner at this cafe since it has been awhile ago I visited this cafe. We came at around 7pm, and by half and hour later the place was packed with diners. The food here is reasonable cheap compare to having your meal at one of the high class fine dining restaurant. The atmosphere here is very relaxing where you can hold a meetup meetings or have your brunch, lunch and/or dinner in this cafe. It is also a kid-friendly cafe. Below are some of the photos I took for your viewing.     <center> The ordering counter </center> > You have to make your order at the counter and pay at the counter, you can pay by cash, credit card or you can use "fave" to pay for your order and get a 6% cashback on your next visit. Cool right? ### The entrance to this cafe   There are a few seating area you can choose from, Either you want to sit inside the air-conditioned area or you can choose to sit outside for some fresh air.     <center> Outside sitting area </center> ### The Menu There are a variety of menus you can choose from. My kids ordered pasta and I myself order the baked crusted salmon. There are other malaysian food you can choose from the menu but I feel like eating some salmon, so I went for it. Here are the menu's this cafe is offering.       ### The Orders So for starters, two of my younger kids ordered tomato and mushroom soup. Kids nowadays are so spoiled with choices....But seriously the soup is very tasty. Below are the food choices my kids and I choosed. Enjoy  <center> Homemade tomate soup served with cheesy garlic bread </center>  <center> Wild mushroom soup with cream served with cheesy garlic bread </center> #### The main course for my kids was pasta.  <center> Homemade Meatball Pasta, tomato concasse sause with grated parmesan cheese </center>  <center> Penne Carbornara, beef bacon, egg yolk, shiitake mushroom, herbs infused oil with grated parmesan cheese </center>  <center> Creamy Sliced Salmon Pasta with cream sauce, tomato, & coriander </center> > This was my main dish. I must admit that was a nice dish, the salmon was baked to perfection and the combination of the ingredients is worth the money spent.  <center> Baked Crusted Salmon with zest crust, garlic confit mashed potato with fish roe and carrot puree </center> The are many other choices of food to also choose from. When I visit this cafe again, I will try the other dishes this restaurant are offering. Below are some of the desserts you can choose off right from the shelf.   *Below are some photos of my son and daughter enjoying their dinner.*   After all the indulgence of good food, it's time to finish off with a hot chocolate.  Total damage done for this dining experience. Seriously the food you pay here and the serving portion is really value for your money. > So next time your in Kota Kinabalu please do drop by and visit this place.
