**Hello my loving Asean Hive community,** Welcome back to my new post. Yesterday I told you about a Chinese store in my town. Today I am going to tell you how to make a delicious little taste. Today I made a jam and juice using one kind of berry. Let me first tell you about a berry I used and how to make a simple jam. Let's get started. What kind of fruits and vegetables do you like when you use them? I like organic fruits. When I buy fruit at the market, I usually buy it from the grandmothers who come from the mountains. Because they grow their plants organically. The berry I used to make jam today is mulberry. In the town where I live, there are very few berries other than strawberries. I did not buy the mulberries I used today from the market. These mulberries are not grown in my backyard either. I picked all these mulberries from my mother friend's small garden. When I picked the mulberries, I found two colors: red and black. Red mulberries are slightly sour because they are not ripe. However, I like to eat unripe red mulberries with chili powder. Ripe black mulberries have a sweet taste. Today I was going to make jam, so I picked only the ripe black mulberries. # **Ingredients** * mulberries * sugar * lime * water These berries may contain dust and insects, so I thoroughly washed them first with water. You can see in the picture that the water turns red when the berries are washed with water. So I had to be careful not to touch that berry on my shirt. I put all the washed mulberries in a preheated pot. Then I added sugar. I added two cups of sugar to the bowl shown in the Ingredients picture. I also added some lime juice. I also mixed the peel of the lime fruit into the pot together. Then I added a little water to the pot and mixed it all together. Until the mulberries are crushed, the jam will remain as shown in the first picture. So I used a spoon to crush all the mulberries. When everything is crushed, I removed the lime fruit. I added as much water as I needed and stirred until the mulberries turned into jam. After cooling the mulberries jam in the pot, I put them in a glass jar. Heat the mulberries and sugar and stir until all the water is used up. This is because the mulberries jam that stays in the water will appear mushroom over time when stored in glass jars. I used a lot of mulberries, but when they turned into jam I only got half of the glass jar. These mulberries jam can be stored in glass bottles for 2 to 3 months. My favorite thing about this mulberries jam is that it goes well with bread. Mulberries jam can replace strawberry jam. I like to pair mulberries jam with bread for my breakfast. What do you think of that? I think Mulberries jam is easy to make and doesn't need a lot of ingredients. And it's very useful. Making mulberries juice is also very easy. I used jam instead of berry to make juice. I mix some mulberries jam in a glass with cold water or a little warm water. I also added a little sugar and a little lime juice. Then mix everything to get a delicious mulberries juice. If you like honey you can add it too. Do you think this is very easy to do? Now let me tell you about some of the health benefits of mulberry that I know of. Mulberry not only improves the gastrointestinal tract but also improves hair health. This berry improves blood circulation and prevents anemia. I'm sometimes anemic so should eat this berry. A friend of mine said that mulberry is also good for eyesight and heart. I know I can make wine using mulberry, but I have never tried it. Next time I have more mulberries I will try the wine. That's all for today. Thank you so much for reading my post to the end. See you in the next post. 🍇
