Some are given the name of pali, for example,  Maung Thura, Maung Taeza, Maung Thiha, Ma Thida, Ma Sanda and etc. 
 Maung Thura means brave one.
 Maung Taeza means brilliant like sun.
 Maung Thiha means lion-hearted one.
 Ma Thida means cool like water.
 Ma Sanda means cool like a moon.

For a Monday born person one of the first group of Myanmar alphabets ka, kha, ga, gha and Nga is given for the first name. Let A, B, C , D, E be the alphabets of the first group, and let it be Monday, the name of Monday born person are to be named beginning with A or B or C or D or E for example; Albert, Bobby, Clinton, David and Edward. They all are Monday born persons.
