Before marrying, Myanmar are used to select auspicious day, date and time for the occasion. They are used to consult with an astrologer, whether the bride and the groom are astrologically friend or foe, in days and in wealth. If husband and wife are astrologically foes in their days, on which they are born, their marital life will not be a happy one, it is so considered in general.

The Sunday born and the Friday born;
The Tuesday born and the Thursday born;
The Sunday born and the Wednesday afternoon born are friends. If the are married, the will live long in life.
The Saturday born and the Monday born;
The Friday born and the Monday born; 
The Sunday born and the Wednesday born;
The Wednesday afternoon born and the Tuesday born are foes. If they get married, they will not live long in life.
