Some elder search for would-be-daughter-in-law and would be son-in-law through the go-between. Young men also use the same channel to get would-be-bride for them. The go-between are generally ladies of 40 to 50 years. If a man comes and seeks help from her to gather facts about a woman whom the loves, the go-between goes to inquire into that woman.

အခ်ိဳ႕လူႀကီးမ်ားကလည္​း ​ေအာင္​သြယ္​ျဖင္​့ ​ေခြၽးမ​ေလာင္​း သမက္​​ေလာင္​းအား ႐ွာၾကသလို လူငယ္​မ်ားကလည္​း ​ေအာင္​သြယ္​မွတစ္​ဆင္​့ ခ်စ္​သူ႐ွာတတ္​ၾကသည္​။ ​ေအာင္​သြယ္​မ်ားသည္​ မ်ား​ေသာအားျဖင္​့ အသက္​ ၄၀ မွ ၅၀ အမ်ိဳးသမီးႀကီးမ်ားျဖစ္​တတ္​၏။ ​ေယာက်္​ား​ေလးမ်ားသည္​ ​ေဒၚ​ေဒၚရယ္​ ရြာထဲမွာ ဘယ္​သူ႔ကို ကြၽန္​​ေတာ္​ ​ေမတၱာ႐ွိ​ေနပါတယ္​၊ စံုစမ္​း​ေပးစမ္​းပါဟု ဆိုလ်ွင္​ ​ေအာင္​သြယ္​ျဖစ္​သူက ယင္​းမိန္​းက​ေလးထံသ္ို႔ သြား၍ ရည္​းစား ႐ွိ မ႐ွိ စုံစမ္​း၏။
If that woman has not got yet a fiance, the go-between informs her that a man has been interested in her, and starts to act as a proper channel between that man and woman. After-wards, the lady allows the would-be lovers to use her home as a rendezvous. Sometimes the lady makes arrangements for them to meet at water fetching place in the evening. 
 မ႐ွိပါက သူ႔အား မည္​သူမည္​ဝါက စိတ္​ဝင္​စား​ေၾကာင္​း ​ေျပာကာ စကားအသြားအျပန္​၊ စာအသြားအျပန္​ ျပဳလုပ္​​ေပးသည္​။ ထို​ေနာက္​ တိတ္​တဆိတ္​ ​ေတြ႔ဆုံရန္​ မိမိအိမ္​တြင္​ျဖစ္​​ေစ၊ ည​ေန ​ေရခပ္​သည္​့​ေနရာတြင္​ျဖစ္​​ေစ ခ်ိန္​း​ေပးျခင္​းျဖင္​့ သမီးရည္​းစား ျဖစ္​သြားတတ္​ၾကသည္​။
