 Hey! Does it mean if you're not done you can't sleep? Please give me a break! As an adult, your body needs an average of 7-8 consecutive hours of sleep daily. Till tell you why. Although I stand to be corrected, I am of the opinion that many things that God created has lost their natural lustre and value except sleep. Sleep had in a very serene environment is so refreshing and rejuvenating. It has been observed that many things can be supplemented through some synthetic means or by other therapeutic factors but nothing has been figured out that can substitute or supplement for a good sleep. Listed below are the benefits of a healthy sleep: It maintains your immune system. It slows aging. It prevents diabetes. It keeps you slim. It helps you maintain a sharp memory. It can make you happier. It makes you more alert the next day. It gives you more energy the next day. It is mother nature’s way of giving you a time out from the business of living. It gives your brain time to process and organize your day’s thoughts. From the foregoing, next time your body knocks for sleep, tidy up or if possible suspend all you're doing and relish a good healthy sleep.
