As every story begins, it all started one day on hive.....

I was doing my usual thing: scrolling, voting on posts, reading user articles about games, and I came across an article I knew existed, and suddenly I read "Earn tokens playing soccer with NFT cards!" From that moment on, I had the urge to know what that was and started reading:

😐 "Soccer?
😲 NFTs?
😳 Real money?"

At that moment, I was already very curious about what game it was, how it worked, and how I could get into it.

## But what is Genesis League Goals?

My surprise was that it's a game where you use NFT cards of real players (yes, from the MLS) to build your team, choose your tactics, compete... and earn tokens.

So I could build my dream team, like Real Madrid, and sign the best players for my team. And suddenly, I remembered that PC game I'd spent so many hours playing, called PC Futbool, where I could sign players, coaches, and even discover a star and promote him to the first team.

## My Dream Team (or How to Choose Players Like a Couch Champion)

Obviously, I started like everyone else:

- Choosing the one with the best haircut 💇‍♂️

- Or the one I recognized from TV 📺

- Or the one who looked like he doesn't get hurt easily 😂

But all this excitement started to get a little more difficult when I realized I couldn't do that and that I had to start from the bottom like everyone else.

Well, I want to do a series of posts so you can see my progress in the game and what cards I get from the packs I have to buy. I mean, since I'm starting from scratch in this game, all kinds of advice is appreciated. And that's all for today.
