Hello my Hive friends, and #monomad enthusiasts. Today I am doing my second post about Buddhism. Before I start I should explain I am not Buddhist, as a matter of fact, I am not a religious true believer. My biggest belief is in nature and mother earth. So probably nature spiritualism is my religion. However, if I think about other great religions, I can't find any better solution than Buddhism. Let me explain why.  Buddhism places great emphasis on compassion, kindness, and non-violence, and its teachings encourage practitioners to be mindful of their actions and their impact on others. In Buddhism, the concept of metta or loving-kindness is emphasized, and it is often practiced as a meditation technique to cultivate a sense of love, kindness, and goodwill towards oneself and others. Additionally, the Buddhist precepts so-called guidelines for ethical conduct, including refraining from harming living beings, speaking truthfully, and practicing generosity. These teachings and practices promote a compassionate and peaceful way of life, which can be seen as friendly and harmonious. And here I think I can find connections to my beliefs.  Do I think other religions are bad? As they are used as a tool, yes. You don't need someone who will tell you the words from those big books? You don't need and PR for that. All you need is a book, which was sadly compromised over the centuries. For example, the Bible is a collection of ancient texts that were originally written in various languages such as Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. Over time, the original scripts of these texts have been lost, and the Bible has been transmitted through various translations and copies. As a result, there is no single Bible that can be considered the "closest" to the original scripts. All are interpretations and as soon the religion is big enough someone starts using it.  However, there are a lot of similarities between Buddhism and other big religions. Many religions, including Buddhism, place great emphasis on compassion, kindness, and non-violence. This is reflected in the Golden Rule, which is found in many traditions and encourages people to treat others as they would like to be treated. Virtues such as honesty, generosity, and self-discipline are valued in many religions, and ethical codes or commandments are often given as guidance for moral behavior.  We should all believe in something! Everyone should have a belief and most of these beliefs should be similar one to another. Every religion should praise peace, harmony and abundance. and by abundance, I think nature is abundance, not materialistic stuff. Why don't we ask ourselves with every action we do? Would god approve that? Probably throwing garbage around and buying unnecessary things is not in his favor. Otherwise, he would create earth and plastic, not just earth and nature.  I think it is crucial to stop being hypocritical and use God's name only when we want to prove something or when we are in trouble. Actually, we are in trouble. His main creation is dying. Earth is getting polluted more and more and species are dying like never before. SO, WHERE IS YOUR GOD NOW?
