Hello, my Hive friends, and welcome back to my blog. Every time we have another black and white theme and today I will share with you some photos I took in Prague. Prague, often referred to as the "City of a Hundred Spires" or the "Golden City," is the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic. It's one of the most beautiful and historically significant cities in Europe, known for its stunning architecture, rich history, and vibrant culture.  Prague has a history that spans over a thousand years, and it has been the capital of the Bohemian region for most of that time. It played a crucial role in the Holy Roman Empire, and it was the capital of the Kingdom of Bohemia. The city's historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to many well-preserved buildings and landmarks from various historical periods.   As a photography sucker, they got me with their architecture. Prague boasts a diverse range of architectural styles, from Romanesque and Gothic to Renaissance, Baroque, and Art Nouveau. The Prague Castle, a vast complex dating back to the 9th century, is one of the largest castles in the world and includes the stunning St. Vitus Cathedral. The Charles Bridge, a 14th-century stone bridge adorned with statues, is an iconic symbol of the city. The Old Town Square with its famous Astronomical Clock, the Powder Tower, and the beautiful Estates Theatre are just a few of the architectural gems found in the city.   Prague's historical center, with its narrow winding streets and squares, has been preserved remarkably well. The entire historic center of Prague is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city's urban planning also includes beautiful squares like the Old Town Square and the Wenceslas Square, both surrounded by historic buildings.  Prague's architecture is a testament to the city's rich and diverse history, with influences ranging from Gothic and Baroque to Cubist and contemporary styles. Exploring the city is like taking a journey through time, where every corner reveals a different architectural treasure.   <center>Well that's it for today's topic.
