Today I tried to purchase steem by going through the Coinbase exchange. I transferred $200 using my debit card and purchased ether. I then went to transfer it to blocktrade where it would be changed into Steem. I received a message,email, that for security reasons my transfer would be delayed by 72 hours.

I use two step verification on all transactions. I sent an email to support and received a response. Your transfer will be delayed by 72 hours. With no other options. 

This is a reason why here in America there is so much mistrust on crypto currency. Let’s see what the rate is in 72 hrs. 

I need to find an exchange that I can transfer fiat into in order to buy Steem. I don’t mind buying a coin and transferring it to blocktrade . Anyone know of an exchange let me know. Coinbase is no longer an option for me. 

Customer support is not important to Coinbase. So one can only assume that they really don’t care about individual accounts. By Monday I will have this all written up and send a complaint into the FCC. Giving crypto more negativity. 

Any suggestions on an exchange is welcome for US dollar
