Today I did some mowing . The picture above is the side of the house looking north . With all the rain the grass was starting to get out of control . The trees were planted last year . In the future they will provide shade to the west side of the house. The west Sun beats down and heats the room on that side . It even has melted the window blinds . This field is on the east side and if I can keep the upkeep up it will make a nice grazing pasture This is half the field on the south side . I finally got the high grass knocked down, it will make up the main pasture .jpg) Toward the back of the main pasture are these burrows . Eight in total . My neighbors are supposed to bring their horses over to graze for the next couple of weeks . The winter has been harsh and the grass on their land needs some recovery time . I have to take care of these burrows prior to them coming over . If a horse happened to get his leg into one of them burrows it could be critical . Not to mention evicting the animals that inhabit them . They are either coyote or armadillo homes . They both are nocturnal so it will be a long night . In my last post I mention how it was important to keep the grasses low due to unknown critters making a residents there . On this one you can see some fresh dirt from the time I mowed around it until the time when I took the pictures . This year we will keep everything up along with some minor maintenance . Next year will be better . We all have financial and personnel issues in one form or another . Good plaining and a budget helps if you stick with it . Keep moving forward in your course no matter what it is and the results will be worth it .

[Join Pay It Forward](https://discord.gg/8fEqXdT)

[Join Steemit Greeters Guild](https://discordapp.com/invite/w6nXjmq)
