[source](https://medium.com/swlh/time-travel-is-not-science-fiction-its-scientific-fact-30e2fceda180) We all wish we could have done something differently when we look back to the past. You might choose a different path, career, or not missed out on that opportunity if given another chance. Sometimes you wish you could go back to an argument because you realize you had more comebacks than you said. Other times you wish you didn't get involved with someone or in a business. Personally, I wish I didn't put up with the shitty people I worked with in my national service year. I was overworked, underpaid and not treated nicely. There was nothing remarkable at that place and I wish I had redeployed when I had the chance to. One thing with time travel (according to movies) is if you try to alter the course of life, it's going to end badly. All things happen the way they should and I think so too (at least most of the time). If I could alter my past, changing my entire service year, I wonder if I'd have met my fiance. I had traveled to see him because I was frustrated and needed to breathe a different air from where I was and he was in a city two hours away. So if I wasn't in that terrible place would I have even met him? Maybe I would have one way or another but being in that place only made it easier. I'd like to travel back in time though and give the middle finger to all the horrible bosses in that place.
