I was having a conversation with my friend about money and how we should keep up with good money habits at the current stage of our lives. Naturally, talks about investment followed and it got me thinking about diversifying my investments. Honestly, I think with the available knowledge on investing at this point in time, it would be a huge error on my part to not have something for myself and my kids in the future. We talked about a number of investment opportunities that I'm now interested in and I thought it best to begin with crypto investments other than the ones I'm already invested in. <center></center> I got introduced to the crypto world two years ago by making my first investment in Vite tokens. It was memorable because that has been the only time I have exchanged fiat for crypto and it was with the money I could have easily spent on unnecessary impulse purchases. It was about $100 worth then and the price has fluctuated within that range all this time. The beautiful thing is that it's worth more now than if I had left it in Naira. Every time I open my vite wallet, I feel really good and I've wanted more of that feeling recently. My account on hive has been doing well slowly as I blog to earn, increasing my stake, saving HBD while gaining interest and I'm also gathering and hodling the second-layer tokens. Now I'm so interested in broadening my investment portfolio and I've been doing some spot trading on Binance. There is a lot to learn about trading and I would be lying if I say I've learned even the basics. I only know as much as buying low and selling high and hoping I wake up one day to see that the market favors me. There are a number of crypto-traders I follow and somehow, their random advice on what coins to buy into always works out for those who heed to the advice and I always felt like I was losing every time these coins pumped. My *genius* plan is to follow their *not a financial advice* advice and increase the worth of my asset as I take profit. It's a lot of information to take in at once and I always thought finance was not my forte until recently. Learning about money and how it works has been exciting and less boring when my own money is involved. I'm ready for all the wins and the losses I might incur in the long run and looking to better understand the market. It's fun making money with money and it is a gamble I'm down for. I also bought some shares and looking to buy some more shares of foreign companies but that's a story for another day. In the future, I want to look back at these decisions and be proud I made the move to start now. **Discord -wolfofnostreet#4939** Posted Using [LeoFinance Beta](https://leofinance.io/@wolfofnostreet/investor-noob-making-moves)
