I stepped out briefly in the morning to get some groceries that had just been exhausted and the massive hike in the price of commodities was just so alarming.  Something I purchased for about $0.6 the previous month was now $1.5.  I had to ask questions and the salesperson gave me the usual "things are costly" gist.  The economist in me came to life. I stood there arguing (*with myself because the salesperson was clearly not interested in arguing with me*) about  how the price hike  was unfair.

After  three minutes of expending so much energy, I still bought the groceries at the prices I was told. Leaving that stall today, I told myself that I had to put more effort into achieving my Hive goals.  And as the universe would have it, today happened to be the 15th of November.



It feels like it was  yesterday when we had the last leo  power up day.  For reasons best known to the solar system, the  remaining days in this year are running so fast.  Sometimes, it feels like I spend less than 24 hours in a day. 



To make the most of my 15th, I decided to power up a portion of the liquid $leo tokens I have in my wallet.  For those who are not aware, 15th of every single month is the Leo power up day #lpud.  On this day, lions and cubs power up  some liquid Leo to show their dedication to  and appreciation of the $leo token.  This doesn't mean that people cannot or do not power up Leo tokens on other days, no.  You can always pay your quota to the growth of Leo by powering up any amount you wish to at any time you dim fit.

For today, I powered up a sum of 80 liquid Leo, moving my Leo power from 201 to 281. That is a bundle of growth if you ask me.  I've come to realise that it isn't always about how fast you are going but how consistent and far you are going.


I'm a staunch believer in the abilities of Leo because their vision is a very clear and feasible one. The Leo team have proved themselves time and time again. They painstakingly work towards achieving anything they set their minds to and that is just admirable. I do not know about you but I would gladly invest in a token with a bright future.

The good thing about the Leo tokens is that as long as you're a member of Hive, there are numerous ways you could earn it but I would highlight two major and stress-free ways of earning Leo tokens;

* On  Threads: this is one of my favourite ways of earning Leo tokens. On leothreads, you get to earn tokens while  doing things you do on other platforms without earning. 

* Community contest: during the weekend, some communities host weekend mini contests and the winners get to get some Leo tokens. Winning isn't always so hard if you follow instructions. I have personally gotten a few Leo tokens and other prizes  from such contests.

This way, you could earn Leo tokens and power up as many leo tokens as possible each month.The importance of powering up Leo tokens cannot be overemphasised  and it even gets better. Each month, a few lucky people are hand picked  based on merit and they get rewarded for  powering up. Isn't that so cool?
