Venturing into politics is something I typically will not do online, and I suspect this simple two-framer is going to ruffle more than a few feathers. This particular strip went through more than a few changes from inception to finalisation, and now I'm finally happy with the result.

The simple truth of the matter is that the history of Europe is the history of war. Hell, the history of humankind is the history of war. We wage war over resources, fear, religion, and the concept of 'safety.' I think what is shocking about this current 'conflict' is that it doesn't appear to be for anything more than one man's ego. There's certainly more to it than that, and much more than can be discussed in a simple two pane comic. Hopefully all nations can perform some serious introspection from this and come out all the better for it.
