Let’s take throwback to times when people used to live in communities. They hunted together, they cultivated wheat, they created working tools together. For these days, to be surrounded by big family was extremely necessary. To be out of community was equal to be dead. Principe of ostracism in Ancient Greece is good example. Some person was considered dangerous for society and according with voting became banished from society. Imagine how scary it was for person who used to be part of community and didn’t know anything except to be part of it. 

Also it was pretty common during many centuries to live all life in the same village and to be surrounded by relatives, parents, children and grandkids. They did same work as their predecessors used to do. Limited information. Limited social lift opportunities. Limited possibilities of change. 

Whole scenario started to fail with modern time. For example, the child is brought up with the ideologies of individualism and independence. Since early age he understands that he owes nothing to anyone (except his parents) and nobody owes anything to him. Modern human is open to new information. Everything is changing pretty fast. To be able to switch from one career to another career  became essential skill. So the goal is to be able provide good lifestyle for yourself.   Who keeps house clean ? Robot vacuum cleaner. Who makes dinner ? Uber food delivery (any kind of cuisine from cheapest pizza to fancy seafood). Who entertains ? Netflix… You can watch movie about  Steven King’s Pennywise or futuristic series Black mirror. Who does shopping ? Amazon Prime with delivery on same day. Who drives ? Self driving car. Vacations ? Any place in the world is available depending from budget. Who is soulmate ? AI companion. Never makes you upset. 

Blockchain technology is also signal of change. 

First question….. Are there place for family, relatives, friends  in the meaning we know ? Second question….. Is there need to have it when everything is already solved and substituted by non-human alternative?
