#### Evening

So Waka launch date draws near with just less than 3 days left and I am all set to buy it. I already had 400+ vouchers at the time of announcement, so I immediately bought 220 vouchers more. The plan was to ensure that I had 500 vouchers needed for the purchase and dump the rest in case of a pump near the launch date.

To bad the expected voucher pump didn't came so far and might not come as overall crypto market outlook is pretty bleak. Currently vouchers are trading at $2.15.

There are other factors contributing to Voucher dip, aside from the bulls. One, only 500 Waka will be on sale in the first phase, costing 5000 SPS and 500 Vouchers each. So the first phase of Waka sale will be requiring a total of 250,000 vouchers. Since Vouchers have been airdropping for quite some time, so whales might already have enough Vouchers to purchase their desired Waka and the small buys orders are from average folks might not be enough to pump the price. Second, the market bear have pushed many to cash out their Vouchers.


#### I am Still Bullish on Vouchers
Despite the current bulls, I still feel Vouchers are a safe bet in the longer run. With the recent move by Splinterlands to lift the Vouchers airdropping cap for 1 million plus SPS stackers, Vouchers airdrop to smaller SPS holders is gonna continue declining as more and more whales build their staked SPS far above 1 million. Wales are gonna keep getting even a bigger chunk of Vouchers drop and since most of the whales are long term holders so there will be an overall market shortage in coming days. Moreover since 250,000 will be utilized as a result of Waka sale, so there might be some buying pressure as many will look to replenish their depleted Voucher reserves in preparation for Rift Watchers.


#### My Plans
If the price of Vouchers didn't pump past $3, I am not gonna dump as SL might find another use case for the vouchers apart from Rift Watchers. So holding on to your vouchers might not be such a bad move after all. And if the opportunity presents and price slips below $2, I will be go Voucher shopping.
