There is no crown without a cross
Life is full of up and down. I remember a time I struggled hard to go to school ( secondary school). The first time I wanted to write a West African Examination Certificate (WAEC)that my father's friend promised to sponsor me, I could not make it that year because I was pushing trucks in the market. Most times I had to work hard to feed myself so I had less time to read. The following year I did give up, I have to push truck at market to get money and pay for the registration for the second time, and still I didn't make it again.
To get the money for the third time registration, I had to join those breaking firewood in my area. I started to break firewood for Money, and that was what I did and gathered money to register for my WAEC, but unlucky for me, I didn't make it.

I was tired of sitting and failing every exam I wrote. At first, I said I would not do it again, so I went and opened a place where I was washing people's cars and motorcycles. One particular day, I woke up in the morning. Having worked so much the previous evening, I was so tired that I became very weak the next morning. I said I will rest that day and not go to work, but since it was a small place and I was the only one, I just decided to go to work. Reaching work after an hour a man came with his car for me to wash. He paid me and left after I was done washing it.

Few minutes after he left, I saw his wallet on the ground . The wallet contained a piece of paper, an ATM card and some money. After some minutes, the man came back and asked me if I saw any wallet and I told him I did, then I gave it back to him. Two days later, he came and asked if I can work for him and I gladly accepted. He later offered me a job as a cook for the Indians that were working for him. Though I didn't know how to eat Indian food, he allowed me time to learn from them gradually while he still paid me.
I became so good at it, that one of the Indians later took me with him to another city to cook for him. At that time I had a lot of time, so I registered for the exams again, and luckily for me, I made it this time around, and that is how I became a secondary school graduate.
