I thought for a long time (for many days) whether I should rent one or more cards, or not, but finally (approximately one day before the end of the current season) I decided to rent at least one card. I decided to rent a level 3 Valnamor for one day for 349.80 Dark Energy Crystals (DEC).   And it turned out to be a good decision. At least Valnamor helped me a lot to quickly reach the Silver III League.  Ready to advance? Of course yes.  I am very excited to see the 12 reward chests, and the fact that I am very close to unlock the Silver II League. I am still thinking about renting more cards, and unlocking and reaching it, but probably not in this season. I wait for the current season end rewards to see whether Splinterlands will encourage (properly reward) me, or disappoint me again.  If the season end rewards will be good, then I will be encouraged to rent more cards, and advance further in the Leagues. Currently I am in the top 60 000 players. My current place is the 57 787th. I played 88 battles in this season so far, and I won 51 battles, so my current win rate is 57.95%.  I am actually willing to invest (more) money into the game, if I see its play-to-earn aspect, and not just/only the pay-to-win aspect. Good luck and have fun. Have a nice day. All the best.
