0.000 HBDSeason end "rewards" in the Bronze I League, and a few thoughts about my current cryptocurrency investments (2022.10.14)
I reached the Bronze I League in the previous season. I earned five season chests approximately in two days. I [returned](https://hive.blog/hive-13323/@xplosive/after-more-than-one-month) to play Splinterlands again after more than one month of pause approximately two days ago. I was "lucky" enough to receive one of the most common, and one of the most worthless cards in the game. A Venari Heathsmith. I currently have 14 of them, but I do not really touch them. They are worthless. Both in the battles, and from the financial aspect too (they currently worth $0.01 USD). I played 352 battles in the previous season, and I won 170 battles, so my win rate was 48.29%. My rank was the 52 721st, so I was in the top 60 000 Bronze Splinterlands players. This is not so bad for playing it approximately for two days in the season. By the way, I started selling Dark Energy Crystals (DEC) in the recent past. I started to sell it daily. I sell the income from my Splinterlands card leasing. I am putting it into Hive Dollar (HBD) savings. I currently have $137.80 HBD in savings. According to PeakD, the estimated interest since the last payment (13 days ago) is $0.915 HBD. Probably I will receive more than $2 HBD interest around the end of the month. I could use both the Hive Dollar (HBD) interest, and my Dark Energy Crystals (DEC) earnings to buy cards, but Splinterlands is simply not encouraging me to do it. Splinterlands is doing the complete opposite of encouraging in the recent past. This is why I took more than one month of pause from playing it. The liquidity pools are different. Those nowadays offer relatively high APRs (the SWAP.HIVE:SPS currently offers 76.86% APR interest), but this investment is riskier than the HBD. Currenty I have 0.767 SWAP.HIVE and 5.740 SPS in it. This nowadays worth around $0.75 USD and $0.80 USD. It can go up and down anywhere anytime. This is why it is a higher risk investment. But probably this is still much better than buying lottery tickets. We have a much higher chance to win with this in long term. Especially seeing the high APR. But because of the high risk, I am not planning to put higher amount of money into this. I prefer the low risk, steady investments. For example the Hive Dollar (HBD) savings. So I keep investing money into Hive Dollar (HBD) savings (and maybe into the above mentioned liquidity pools), and I keep playing Splinterlands for fun. Mostly to pass time on the go. I wonder how many other people decided to sell any of their Splinterlands assets, and how many of them put it into something else. Either way, good luck and have fun. Have a nice day and have a nice weekend. All the best. Greetings and much love from Hungary.
