Two days ago (on 2024.01.25) I [wrote](https://hive.blog/hive-13323/@xplosive/actual-dynamic-in-game-interaction) that I tried playing Splinterlands again after many months of pause.

Currently my conclusion is that Splinterlands is now playable again, but there is no sense of progress, nor encouragement in it.

I played 70 battles in the previous two days so far. I won 34 battles. So currently my win rate in this season is 48.57%. My current rank is 50 002, so I am near the top 50 000 Bronze players.

As long as my win rate is around 50%, I call it playable. So nowadays Splinterlands is not frustratingly hard to play, but there is still no encouragement from the game. And there is no sense of progress in it either.

Probably I stop playing Splinterlands again in the near future. Again for multiple months.

Even free-to-play games are more encouraging and more rewarding.

Of course this is my current experience in the Bronze III rank. Other players both in the same rank, and in other ranks maybe have different experiences and opinions.

Splinterlands was one of my favorite games in the past (mainly in/around 2019). Nowadays not really. I rather play League of Legends: Wild Rift, which is not even a blockchain game.
