**"Citrus Fruits"**
Mixed Media,15.8x22.7cm,2022

For me, citrus fruits are mandarin oranges. When I was a child, it was my winter custom to eat mandarin oranges in the kotatsu. However, my internal medicine doctor told me to cut back on eating oranges because I have diabetes, so I don't eat oranges as much anymore. But mikan is delicious, and I wanted to eat at least a little bit of it.
I bought a bag of 10 S size mikans from Wakayama prefecture for 298 yen. I thought, "Hey, didn't they used to have 12 in the bag before? ......, but I bought them thinking they were mikans for people like me.

There are many other citrus fruits like grapefruit, iyokan, hassaku, and so on.
They are among my favorite fruits.

これは私が創った作品です。
**「柑橘類」**
ミクストメディア、15.8x22.7cm、2022

私にとって柑橘類と言えばみかんです。小さい頃はコタツに入ってみかんを食べるのが冬の習慣でした。しかし内科の先生に、糖尿病があるんだからみかんは控えなさいと言われてあまり食べなくなりました。でもみかんは美味しいし、少しぐらいは食べたいと思って
和歌山県産Sサイズのみかん10個入り298円の袋を買ってきました。あれ、前は12個入ってなかったかな……と思いましたが、私のような人のためのみかんだと思って買いました。

柑橘類はほかにもグレープフルーツとか、いよかんとか、はっさくとか色々ありますね。
好きな果物の仲間です。
