Hive is technically an SNS, but it's more of a place to write blogs. Even so, I only write three to four days a week. I reposted various things on X during the July election and got some information, but after the election, I felt it was pointless to use it anymore, so now there are days when I don't use X at all. Even when I do use it, it's only for about 10 minutes a day.

The same goes for other SNSs. On Instagram, I only post pictures when I draw something. Facebook is the same. Bluesky, which I started later and is like Twitter, and Cara, which is convenient for artists because you can create a portfolio, are the same. As for Threads, I just look at it. mixi2? I registered, but...

Since I don't use social media much anymore, I've been able to save time to practice writing by writing on Hive and note, a Japanese platform for Japanese users created by a Japanese company. This is really great! I want to continue writing on Hive and note little by little.

I no longer think it's a waste of time to spend hours on social media. Instead, I want to focus on drawing, creating zines, and other creative activities. I also want to create three-dimensional works in the future. Venting on X isn't creative at all. Whether writing this text counts as creative activity, I don't know. There are various things to do, like going to the hospital and meeting people.
Time must be used effectively.

Hiveも一応SNSなんだろうけれど、どちらかというとブログを書くところだから。それでも週３～４日しか書いていない。Xは7月の選挙の時に色々とリポストしたし、情報も得たけれど、選挙後はもう使うのが馬鹿馬鹿しくなって、今はXを使わない日もある。使っても1日10分くらいである。

他のSNSも同様。Instagramも絵が描けたらその絵をアップするだけだ。Facebookも同様。後から始めた、まるでTwitterみたいなBlueskyも、ポートフォリオが作れて絵描きには便利なCaraも同じ。Threadsに至っては見るだけ。mixi2？登録はしたけれど…。

SNSをあまり使わなくなって、文章を書く練習にこのHiveと、日本の企業による日本向けプラットフォームであるnoteに書くために、文章を書きためる時間ができて、こうして書いている。実に良いことだ！Hiveとnoteはこれからも少しずつ書いていきたい。

もう、むやみやたらにSNSに入り浸るなんて時間の無駄だと思っている。その分、絵とか、ZINEとか、創作に打ち込みたい。今後はまた立体作品も創りたいな。Xに愚痴を吐いたところで、全然創造的じゃないもんな。この文を書くことが創作活動と言えるかどうかは、しらんけど。色々とやることはあるのだよ。通院とか、人にも会わないといけないしね。
時間は有効に使わねば。
