Danish police found the vodka, believed to be the most expensive in the world, empty at a construction site.
The bottle, estimated at $ 1.3 million, was stolen days ago from a bar in the Danish capital of Copenhagen.
The bottle was made of gold and silver and covered with diamonds. It was lent to the pub, which displays a group of the rarest bottles of vodka.
The surveillance cameras showed one of the infiltrators as he stole the bottle and fled from the bar.
The bottle was found intact but empty in a construction site in the city.
"We do not know what the fate of the vodka is, we found the bottle empty," police spokesman Riad Toubah told AFP.
The owner of the bar, Brian Engberg, said the bottle was not affected.

Ingberg, the owner of Café 33, told a local television station that he borrowed the Vodka vial from Latvia-based Dartz Motor.
"It has been part of my group for six months."
The luxury car maker Rosso-Baltic says the vodka bottle was made to commemorate the centenary of its factory.
The front of the bottle is decorated with leather and has a copy of the label placed on the radiator in the cars manufactured by the company.
Its cover is shaped like a Russian imperial eagle and studded with diamonds.
Ingberg said the bottle was shown in an episode of the American television series "House of Cards" as a gift from the Russian president to his American counterpart.
