The First Ever GoPro Hero Camera Started As Reel , It Wasn't Digital
We all know GoPro as the biggest action camera maker in the current market, but you may not know that the company start off with a reel camera instead of the tiny , portable Hero digital camera.

Nick Woodman , CEO of GoPro first built an 'Ultimate Camera Strap' which we could wear around our wrist. This made him capture pictures while he goes for surfing, but he wasn't too satisfied with third-party cameras.

So, he gave some money to a factory in China and said them to make a camera. And after this the original GoPro Hero camera was born. It used 35mm film to enable users to click pictures. It was invented in 2004 and costed around $20.
