<center>In this post I share some photos about the condition of Ujong Pie pier, Laweung. Ujong Pie Laweung pier is located in the coastal area of ​​Aceh, Indonesia. As one of the strategic port points, this pier functions as the main access for sea transportation. However, the condition of this pier currently faces various challenges, both in terms of infrastructure and maintenance. Most of the pier facilities are starting to look outdated and require major repairs, especially on the concrete structure and supporting facilities such as bridges connecting ships and land. Several reports state that this pier is often damaged by extreme weather, such as high waves and strong winds, which often hit the area.</center>

<center>On the other hand, the potential for developing Ujong Pie Laweung pier is very large. Its strategic location close to various small islands and other coasts makes it an important point for the fisheries and tourism sectors. With the improvement of facilities and infrastructure improvements, this pier can function more optimally to support local economic activities, including seafood trade and the development of the tourism sector which is currently sufficient.
