The avid follower will probably realize that this looks rather similar to <a href="https://steemit.com/photography/@yblith/a-magical-place">one of my earlier</a> shots. And indeed it is! This is the same location, with a slightly different perspective. Turned out that one of the perks of having dedicated hiking shoes is that those guys are actually water sealed - which opens up a whole new level of possibilities! 

This image was taken about 1 meter behind and below the other one, the diagonal log here is the one to the front-left on the other image. Unfortunately I did not bring a tripod with me, so I was kneeling inside the stream and trying to maximize the exposure time without shaking.
