**Hello friends of the Freecompliments community!** Today I wanted to bring you a story that you may or may not know but that in any case is an example to follow for all of us. Whether we are athletes or not. **Kieran Beham is an example to follow.**

**Kieran Beham is an Irish sports gymnast known as "the Irish miracle"**. Kieran's sporting career is not a career of improvement, it is a life of improvement. Kieran always wanted to be a gymnast and represent his country in the **Olympic Games**.

Since he was a child he showed his talent for this sport but when he was **only 10 years old he was diagnosed with a tumor in his thigh**. The operation was a disaster and the doctors told him that he would never walk again. But Kieran is not the type of person to settle and he immediately began his recovery. It wasn't quick since he spent 15 months in a wheelchair. **But he still managed to fully recover and return to gymnastics**.

Unfortunately for Kieran, his problems did not end there and either because he was not at 100% or by pure chance just a few months later he suffered another accident while training. **He hit his head and suffered a concussion that left him with consequences such as loss of balance and fainting**. This led him to miss 2 years of school and this time his recovery would not be as fast as the previous one.
