so uhm joining steemit i got the lowdown from my community members and one of things they said was to not get updated by cheetah the steem bot that flags content that are copied and so we are to make sure to site our sources...so in my last post i had a credit section where i sited the made mention of cites i made texts from but surprisingly and quite interestingly i got upvoted by cheetah almost immediately after making the post and so i had to go and meet a friend to explain why it happened despite adding my source and so he pointed out a few things i think newbies would find quite helpful especially when using external sources 

so firstly all you need yo know is contained in the Markdown Styling Guide
