 |En|Ua| |-|-| |Today is Good Friday — a day when the world remembers and reflects on the tragic events of two thousand years ago, when Jesus Christ was crucified. Sadly, evil and injustice are still widespread today. Yet, according to Christian teaching, the death and resurrection of Jesus give us hope that, in the end, evil will be punished. I want to believe this — especially now, as we are enduring an unjust, imperial war waged by Russia against Ukraine. It’s a war of annihilation, a genocide against the Ukrainian nation. Such thoughts naturally arise when contemplating ancient events. But today is also Mushroom Friday, and we’ve gathered here to talk about mushrooms — so please forgive my spiritual detour. I’d like to share a few mushroom photos I took while walking with my son near the forest. I’m not exactly sure what species it is. I tried identifying it with Google Lens, which suggested Entoloma vernum or Entoloma cetratum. It’s hard to say for certain, but most likely it belongs to the *Entoloma* genus — and is probably poisonous. That doesn’t matter though — I wasn’t planning on eating it, just photographed it out of curiosity, from a kind of scientific point of view.|Сьогодні — Страсна п’ятниця. Хочеться в це вірити — особливо зараз, коли ми переживаємо несправедливу, загарбницьку війну Росії проти України. Це війна на знищення, спрямована проти українського народу, і вона є геноцидом нашої нації. Такі думки виникають, щойно задумуєшся про події сивої давнини. Але все ж таки сьогодні Грибна п’ятниця, і ми зібралися поговорити про гриби, то ж вибачте за духовні роздуми, що ведуть мене вбік. Хочу поділитися з вами грибними світлинами, які зробив під час прогулянки з сином біля лісу. Я точно не знаю, що це за гриб. Спробував ідентифікувати його за допомогою Google Lens — він запропонував варіанти: ентолома весняна (Entoloma vernum) або Entoloma cetratum. Важко сказати точно. Але найімовірніше, це якась представниця роду ентолом (*Entoloma*), і, скоріш за все, гриб — отруйний. Але це не має значення: я не збирався його їсти. Просто сфотографував — заради цікавості, з так би мовити, наукової точки зору. |
