At *#Copenhagen's Rosenborg palace*

My favourite part about architecture of the past is the effort people put into the details. Both, exterior and interior design were meant to please the eye if not to impress and leave you in awe. Even the stairs in the picture are decorated from the underside. I shot it in B&W to expose the fine bas-relief texture created by the 17th century masters. I love how the floral composition of the staircase grows under the flock of birds flying at the ceiling.
