Choosing the right color scheme is important. So what is "the right color scheme? If you look around, highschool team logos, corporation logos, and other logos usually have 2 colors. According to a study done by [Toronto University](http://www.dgp.toronto.edu/~donovan/color/colorcomp.pdf) most people like 2 to 3 colors. So Simplicity is more preffered. Not having a multitude of colors makes it easier to read.  **So how do you get started even choosing? The best way to start is with the color wheel!**  By using the color wheel, you can find complimentary colors. Complimentary colors are opposites. You want to use opposites since it causes less stress to the eyes, and makes things stand out more.  Split complimentary is also visually appealing. It involves using three colors. Finding split complimentary colors is as simple as looking for a colors opposite, then useing the two colors beside it.  Those are the marketing basics for using complimentary color schemes.
