As always, not gone... I'm dealing with life and its challenges, and learning on my journey.

I've been away some days due to health but I hope to make up for it with this little candid treat :) and one of my favourite songs: Both Sides Now by folk singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell.  This is a very (hopefully) angelic dreamy version, almost intended to sound like a lullaby. So hope you find it soothing and calming.
I have been mostly away due to health and in fact May (and still ongoing) has been a very stressful time for me full of doctors and medical tests... still narrowing down the path to feel stronger and better but just like clouds, there are blue skies and there are stormy days.  Trying to see things from different perspectives and the lessons life bring.

Both sides was written in 1966 by Canadian Singer-Songwriter Joni Mitchell, it was first performed by Judy Colling  in 1968 and then by Joni herself on ther album "Clouds" (1969). Joni has always excelled in the poetic evocative aspect of her lyrics that have entranced several generations.

 I particularly chose this one as I have always been a person with a strong imagination and I always notice the cloud shapes in the sky. But most importantly because it has a duality, life is full of highs and lows, of beautiful things and challenging moments, but once we move ahead on our path through it, it's life's illusions I recall...

I've been dealing myself with some strange years... but despite it all, I see it from "BOTH SIDES" now. And I have learned to accept certain things, and even take them as a challenge to fuel my need to move onwards. Just back from the hospital a couple of days ago... and still undergoing some stressful tests and having to adapt to a gentler pace, not delving into detail though I might update on another post. I still feel a bit vulnerable when sharing about this things, and I know I'm not the only one who struggle with chronic issues. I am in many ways so much better than I've been but still there are some times where those ominous leaden dark anvil rise and threaten with heavy rain.

In life it is our choice to remember the good and the bad... but don't forget to look at it from "both sides" and cherish all the good memories you build your life with.

There is also a hidden  rat (not to break tradition), so one "fufunchi"  :) not difficult to spot :)

FILMED late may, 2024 (late Spring vibes) in Navarre, Spain

This was filmed late May, and the flowers are called "lady Orchids"  Orchis Pupurea, a tall herbaceous plant that grows in woodlands and flower from April to June. It is considered an "endangered species" so rather special.
