I wish the debate about school shootings spent more time focusing on what kids learn in school. Students come out of school completely unprepared for life. 

Many of the terrible incidents we have seen in the US of late have been committed by students whose only experience with life in the school system.

Teachers immediately lay the blame on guns. But shouldn't there also be an investigation of what students like Cruz learned in school that made them aspire to be a school shooter?
