# GL HF!

The gaming acronym which means  **"Good Luck, Have Fun!"** pretty much describes what i am feeling right now from this **Hash Rush** ICO. I heard about it just a few moments ago and i'm so stoked about it. I hope that this will truly merge cryptocurrency and real time strategy gaming.

Any avid gamer and crypto loving  human being would be enthusiastic about this. Heck, who wouldn't love the idea of enjoying the thrill of a strategy game with the nifty addition of earn some cryptocrystals/real cryptocurrency! It may sound a bit complicated right at this moment, time will tell as the game develops to shed some light unto us. I will definitely participate in the ICO. :)

According to the site's [F.A.Q.page](https://www.hashrush.com/faq):
> There are three playable Factions in Hash Rush: The Ernacks, a race of small, cloaked miners; the Space Pirates, who specialize in scavenging and raiding; and the Highborn of Eldaria, a noble race of elven magic users.

Feels like they are going with the holy trinity of factions for starters , much like the Starcraft races of Protoss, Zerg and Terran. But as also stated in their page, there will be additional upcoming factions on as the game progresses by.

Sounds great to me. :) As a cryptonewbie i warmly welcome that concept. Let me just play and explore the game without being too technical. If i learn bits of crypto knowledge as i play the game, that would be a win-win situation for me.

The units and structures you control will all contribute to your colony's mining efforts, and these will correlate with real-world hashing power in our mining farm. The more you're able to mine in-game, the more cryptocurrencies you'll be earning.

This will be a huge selling point of the game. Being a gamer for almost all of my life, earning money in games correlates to selling in-game items to prospective buyers worldwide. Truly there is money in the gaming industry aside from being into e-sports. If they could integrate crypto & gaming flawlessly, this would be a gem of a game.
