***  Hoy en la mañana sentí mucha alegría. Yo trabajo programando actividades culturales en la Fundación Nicolás Guillén. Uno de nuestros objetivos era un taller con niños autistas. ***  Nuestra vicepresidenta, que además es artista de la plástica e instructora de la misma manifestación logró hoy este objetivo. ***  Cómo lo hizo, con mucho amor. El asunto es que hoy tuvimos una mañana azul. Rodeada de niños con sus padres. Incluso hasta niños con casi toda la familia, porque necesitan más apoyo que otros. ***  Dos de ellos, los más grandes, uno si es autista, Jonatan y el otro no es autista, Joan tiene un retraso mental ligero, ellos dos se han insertado en nuestras actividades culturales. ***  La gran aventura de hoy comenzó cuando la vicepresidenta me llamó desde el patio para si yo quería participar del taller, aunque fueran algunos minutos, porque yo tenía que ir a hacer otra actividad. ***  Después que llegué al patio entonces no me quería ir. Tener varios niños con TEA y ver que cada uno es diferente, me hace pensar en la flores, como lo le expliqué a David hace poco cuando no entendió un comentario en la escuela. ***  Yo le dije, mi corazón, cuando entras a un jardín hay muchas plantas, todas son diferentes, unas florecen y otras no. El verde de la hoja no es el mismo. No huelen iguales. Las que florecen, florecen diferentes y cada una tiene un tiempo para hacerlo. Eso pasa con los niños. ***  Entonces fue cuando tuve frente a mi la prueba de que ningún niño, con TEA es igual a otro, incluso todos necesitan in nivel de ayuda diferente. Me di cuenta porque Jonatan aunque tiene un nivel 3, ha logrado insertarse en nuestras actividades. ***  Aunque no se comunica mucho pero responde a las preguntas, ya hemos logrado que socialice y es maravilloso. Me siento feliz de poder contarles está aventura de hoy. ***  Cuando ya se acercaba la hora de irme a trabajar a otro sitio, la nostalgia se me asomó, pero el trabajo me llamaba, lo cierto es que el próximo día 18, Laberinto de colores, (Ese es el nombre del taller) se hará otra vez y yo estaré con David para que conozca más niños como él. ***  ***  ***  <sub>El texto publicado es original y las imágenes son tomadas por mi.</sub> *** ENGLISH VERSION *** ***  This morning I felt so happy. I work programming cultural activities at the Nicolás Guillén Foundation. One of our goals was a workshop with autistic children. ***  Our vice president, who is also a visual artist and instructor for the same event, achieved this goal today. ***  How she did it, with so much love. The point is, today we had a blue morning. Surrounded by children with their parents. Even children with almost their entire family, because they need more support than others. ***  Two of them, the older ones, one is autistic, Jonatan, and the other is not autistic, Joan, who has severe mental retardation. They have both been involved in our cultural activities. ***  Today's great adventure began when the vice president called me from the courtyard to ask if I wanted to participate in the workshop, even for a few minutes, because I had to go do something else. ***  After I got to the courtyard, I didn't want to leave. Having several children with ASD and seeing that each one is different makes me think of flowers, as I explained to David recently when he didn't understand a comment at school. ***  I told him, my love, when you walk into a garden there are many plants, all different, some bloom and some don't. The green of the leaves isn't the same. They don't smell the same. Those that bloom bloom differently, and each one has a different time to do so. That's what happens with children. ***  That's when I was faced with proof that no child with ASD is the same as another; in fact, they all need a different level of help. I realized this because Jonatan, despite being level 3, has managed to integrate into our activities. ***  Although he doesn't communicate much, but he answers questions, we've already gotten him to socialize, and it's wonderful. I'm happy to be able to share this adventure with you today. ***  When it was getting close to the time I had to leave for another job, homesickness crept in, but work was calling me.
