<i>The 1st Match Match of the Pakistan Super League, 2022 played yesterday between Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans, at National Stadium, Karachi. In which Multan Sultans wins over Karachi Kings by 7 wickets.

Multan Sultans won the toss and invited Karachi Kings to bat first, Karachi Kings batted first started the inning very brilliantly, Sharjeel Khan and Babar Azam came to start the inning and gave a brilliant start with half-century partnership of 66 runs for the first wicket, the first wicket has gone for 66 runs in second ball of the 10th over, Sharjeel Khan dismissed after playing a brilliant inning of 43 runs with the help of 3 sixes and 3 boundaries in just 31 balls, next batsman Joe Clarke came to bat, after few moments the second wicket has gone for 71 runs in fourth ball of the 11th over, Babar Azam dismissed after scoring 23 runs in 29 balls, next batsman Mohammad Nabi came to bat, and played well with Joe Clarke for a while, the third wicket has gone for 103 runs in first ball of the 17th over, Mohammad Nabi dismissed for 10 runs in 17 balls, followed by Tom Lammonby came to bat, and he dismissed just for 1 run as fouth wicket in 16.4 over, the team score was 105 runs, next batsman Lewis Gregory came to bat, after few moments the fifth wicket has also gone for 110 runs in 17.5 over, Joe Clarke dismissed after scoring 26 runs in 24 balls, next batsman Aamer Yamin came to bat, and he remains unbeaten for 1 run in 3 balls with Lewis Gregory, and Lewis Gregory played an unbeaten inning of 14 runs in 16 balls. In this way, Karachi Kings batted first after losing the toss scored 124 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in stipulated 20 overs, and set a target of 125 runs for Multan Sultans.

In this way, Multan Sultans chasing 125 runs in the second inning achieved the target very easily for losing just 3 wickets in 18.2 overs and won the match by 7 wickets.

Karachi Kings bowlers Mohammad Nabi took 2 wickets for 17 runs, and Mohammad Ilyas got 1 for 2 runs.

Multan Sultans's bowler Imran Tahir was selected as the best player of the match, he performed very brilliant bowling took 3 wickets just for 16 runs.</i>
