How does life itself exist, then? Our bodies are physical conduits through which we are able to exert presence on spacetime; we are given a set of senses with which we can readily interact with spacetime and enact changes on it and be changed by it, but the consciousness itself is massless. However, it must also exist, because our identities are inherently tied to spacetime - through experiences, memories, emotions and thoughts. The physical world directly influences how our consciousness evolves, and since it is able to do that, consciousness must in some way exist in a non-quantum state for the physical body to interact with it. ___
https://cdn.pixabay.com/photo/2015/02/21/10/56/worm-hole-644117_960_720.jpg
##
Are we quantum?
##
Therefore, we are in effect, quantum beings ourselves, to some degree. Our brains exist the physical components that allow our minds to survive and continue to function, but in there is also itself the quantum matter that our consciousness is made of. It exists all throughout ourselves but is limited to our bodies, and more specifically, our brains. Can consciousness exist outside of a brain? When I have a thought, when my consciousness exerts influence on my body, it seems to occur from within my head. Why is this? If we cannot perceive consciousness as something physical, why is it we are able to pinpoint exact locations that immaterial phenomena such as thoughts occur? When I have a thought, I hear it -in my head-, not in my arm, my hand, my leg, in my feet. If I speak a sentence in my mind, it occurs in my head. Spacetime is a quantifiable volume in which anything within it can be precisely located with co-ordinates - The X-axis, Y-axis, Z-axis and Time. All things and all events in spacetime are identifiable within spacetime to an exact time and location, yet the immaterial mind, which in its pure form does not occupy any space, is capable of locating itself with its own consciousness. One could argue using Ockham's Razor that rather than the untenable proposition stated prior, could consciousness be something more simple and straightforward? Perhaps it is just as feasible that consciousness -is- material and occupies some portion of spacetime within our heads. If this is so, then what occurs to the body after death? When consciousness can no longer be supported by its earthly vessel? Does it too degrade back into the Earth that gave birth to it, just as the body does? I have never seen consciousness before, and I struggle to even comprehend what it could possibly look like; certainly, if consciousness was physical, it must therefore have an appearance.
