I came across a funny little use-case scenario that I think will be mutually beneficial for myself and my daughter @aimeludick! Aime is now 16 and she has been working a part-time job some days after school and also on Saturdays. She started earning a decent income and so I instructed/convinced her to save half of her income in HBD, which is nice and stable, while putting it into HBD savings meant that there was a nice growth and return of her invested money! For the last two months I have not needed to take anything out of Hive since I had a bit of overtime and in fact, I invested in myself. However, that saving of additional funds is finished and it is time that I build up my reserve fund in my bank account again. A buffer amount so I do not need to stress because of surprise expenses. So I need to move some earned HBD to my bank account and I need to move money earned by @aimeludick to HBD. Instead of paying exchange fees and waiting, I realized that I can just exchange HBD from me to Aime and then transfer the appropriate amount of money from Aime's money to my account and its balanced! I think this is really cool! Haha! What do you thing? So here we go Aime... $9.186 in HBD from me to you. This is worth R165. I need to transfer a total of R1120 to your HBD savings this month, but mom - @clairemobey also draws money from Hive so we can do a straight transfer from her Hive account to yours and done deal, I send her that cash! Also, well done Aime! You made $2.712 in interest! I need to transfer another R955 this way for @aimeludick. 😁😁😁 We are a Busy Bee family! I feel like this is a great accomplishment!
