For Mining Lovers ...Must read once
***Just a little math***: Solar is about $0.3-$0.5 per watt hour if you order at quantity. That puts 2kwh at about $1000. In an area without much rain, that will give you 24kwh per day on average throughout the year. That's enough to run a 1000W mining rig, which will cost you $1000 per year to run in electricity in the US.

Realistically with storage and clouds, you'd probably want about 4kwh worth of panels and 18kwh worth of battery to pay for nights per 1000W mining rig, bumping the solar ROI to about 2-3 years, but it's almost certainly worth it. Normally you would lose 1/3 of the mined coins to pay for electricity, but if you went 50/50 or even 70/30 miner to solar, your total ROI may come much quicker.
