Back again with another #thoughtfuldailypost to escape the global economic silliness with some thoughtful distraction. @Wesphilbin waves the @thoughtfulposts flag for us as the curation account that rewards them thoughtful posts. Please consider delegating if you are the thoughtful type and want to encourage people to share their positivity.

For my newest friends, here are a couple quotes from a couple goats that made me pause, ponder, and discuss for #thoughtfuldailypost. Paired with thoughtfully-curated music to match the sentiment!

Today, I am considering thoughts about progress which must be made together.

As far as I have looked, this gem is from [David Wade Psychotherapy & Hypnotherapy](www.davidwaderun.com) who should probably look at Hive as a place for his content and thoughtfulness.

I always love the Asian warrior samurai shogun archetype. With so many classic films from the 70s that focused upon the village warrior against insurmountable odds but undeniable purpose, it seems perpetually relevant to the white people problems I have to endure. ;)

I was always competitive enough and hated losing so much that I sometimes ducked out because I had little chance of winning. After watching the competition and deciding that I could actually have done well or had fun, I came to the conclusion that I should battle impulse with action and just do it. Doesn't always turn out well but sure leads to some good learning experiences and mistakes are a part of the process. Celebrating experiences is a little tougher when they are mistakes but those experiences are probably more valuable with their difficulty when it comes to the experience.

Unlike what Frankie says, Relax and just do it.

[Floyd Red Crow Westerman](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Floyd_Westerman) is apparently the face in the picture and I am not about to appropriate a quote of such aboriginal tribal wisdom. Just makes sense!

This one spoke to me as political discourse here in North America is taking global center stage as of late. I am of the persuasion that all politicians, whether on the blue team, red team, or otherwise, are out of touch with reality when they reach the leadership of their party, and all campaign commitments are nothing but pillow promises. As we pass that cynical political stance, I like to consider myself as a conservative fiscally but firmly rooted in caring for each other and the government as an agent to care for all the people and our environment. Quite the paradox I know.

Then, I read this meme and drink in the ageless wisdom that left and right are still part of the greater collective, perhaps balancing but definitely symbiotically attached. Looking at left and right as past of the same organism surely brings us together when politics seem determined to drive us apart. I just can't wait for the aliens to attack so that humanity can find a reason to work together for our preservation rather than battle each other for limited resources when it doesn't have to be that way.

The southern man doesn't always know the way but we should all be free birds.

I don't think caring for fellow humans needs to be a religious thing and a little collective global thoughtfulness would do us all some good. If being thoughtful is up your alley, you have the option to delegate to @thoughfulposts to increase the rewards for positivity.
https://hive.blog/introduceyourself/@thoughtfulposts/thoughtfulposts-introduction-or-a-thoughtfuldailypost is the post that started it all way back in 2020!

# I invite you to pen your own #thoughtfuldailypost any day of the week and share your insight on the world through your blog.
