I believe that money draining from the alts is temporary.  People jumping in to get segwit2x coins and BCG up till a couple of days ago.  In relation to the internet, the development of the crypto space is like the early 1990's.  Bitcoin has become the [Yahoo! of finance](https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@zoidsoft/what-are-the-obstacles-to-mainstream-bitcoin-adoption).  What happens next is the search engine wars and the spreading of market cap across several alts until the next Google of finance arrives.  It might wear the bitcoin label, but might not.
