 I promised a full writeup of the meetup with @alvinauh that happened last week. It was a crazy full meetup because we literally had 3 meals in one night. There was dinner, supper, late supper. Gosh and to think that I haven't been going to the gym for awhile now scares me.  <center><h1>Meet @alvinauh</h1></center> A seasoned Steemian who came in a little earlier than me and has been pretty active in posting and writing a lot about his life as a teacher, tips and tricks about teaching and many more life lessons as a father as well. He is very well involved with #steemiteducation initiative. He works in East Malaysia and that is why we don't get to see him very often and when he does come down, @joannewong, @aaronleang and I would probably want to set up a meetup with him to catch up and enjoy a meal or two....or three together. :D <center><h1>First Meal of the Night</h1></center>    We went for a traditional Sichuan steamboat which was located in the heart of Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. This was only the first set of orders and we realized that it wasn't enough for the 7 of us. @orangila, @buzz.lightyear, @littlenewthings, @joannewong, @aaronleang, and of course @alvinauh came for steamboat dinner. For those of you who do not know what a steamboat is, we basically have a big hot pot set in the middle of the dining table and we cook our meat, vegetables and everything in the hot pot. We usually get to pick what sort of soup we want, for this meetup, we chose the Sichuan & pork rib soup which is their signature.   I love love love the Sichuan soup. The Sichuan soup is famous for its unique taste of spiciness. It is unlike the curry, chilli or wasabi sort of spiciness if you know what I mean. But Sichuan uses a special type of herb that will give you a long afterburn on your tongue and throat. Gosh, I don't know why I went through all that torture but it was worth it! I know some of the Steemians definitely enjoyed the soup mixed with their own mixed sauce. This Steamboat place is also unique for its 'create your own sauce' sauce. Basically, there is a recipe hung on the wall beside the sauce trays but you can opt to mix and create however you wish to. I personally love fried garlic and onions so I added that a lot and topped with peanut, parsley and a little soy sauce.    Everyone enjoyed it and we were all preparing our tummies for what comes next. Desserts! One thing about when Malaysian meet, we have to have a complete lineup of meals and that includes dessert. ___________ <center><h1>Second Meal of the Night</h1></center>   Guess who came and join us! @elizacheng had to settle in with her daughters and she carefully snuck out to come join us for dessert. For desserts, we went to a traditional shop that sells sesame *tong sui*. *tong sui* directly translates to sugar water which means desserts for us Chinese. The shop was located in the heart of dodgy and dark alleyways with no lamp post. It was my first time there and I loved the place other than the dark corners. We had to wait quite a long time as they prepare our *tong sui* as it was traditionally done. The Sesame have to be grinded using some sort of manual stone grinder and was operated by the lady.   As it was my first time seeing sesame being done in this way, I went over to the *kakak*, which means *sister or what we use to call servant* and talked to her a little. <b>Zord</b> : Hey *kakak*, I'm pretty sure a lot of people come up to you to video/photography you grinding the sesame(because having seen it for the first time). You must be famous. <b>Kakak</b> : Well, they take photo of the sesame and not me. Sesame more famous than me. Soon after she finished grinding the black sesame, we all still had to wait quite a while before we got our *tong sui*.   The black and white coloured *tong sui* is the <b>black sesame & almond</b>. I on the other hand ordered just the pure peanut dessert which is my all time favourite. The texture and the sweetness is by far the best I've tasted compared to any other stores. Probably because of the traditional way they make their sesame.  ____________ <center><h1>Third Meal of the Night</h1></center>  Because it was pretty late already, we wanted to find a place that is 24 hours so we can sit down and chat. What better place than <b>Mcdonalds</b>. Mcdonalds was also having a new app and they're promoting <b>World cup</b>. When you've downloaded the app, you get free drinks, burgers, fries and other sides depending on the terms and condition. And because it is World cup season, for <b>every goal</b> scored when you're in Mcdonalds gets you a <b>FREE medium coke</b>. That's right... my gym days are so yesteryears. __________  I think other than the good food, I enjoyed @alvinauh's company with us that day. We would probably be meeting up one last time this coming weekend before he flies off back to the East to work.
