<center>**Welcome to a new post, dear Hiver!**</center>

*I go out very early every morning, when there are few people on the street. And no matter what time it is, there's always something worth seeing.*

Sometimes it's the sunrise, the bright clouds in the sky, the parrots singing, the birds walking freely through the streets, and the kittens taking their first steps of the day.

On this occasion, however, something caught my attention. Since I started the internship, every morning I've seen the same man walking with a bag in his hand, distributing food to stray kittens.

At first, I looked at him with suspicion, because I didn't know what he was doing, and also because on those streets there are people of certain religions who sacrifice cats.

So I stared at him, as if to say, "Don't hurt the kittens." Until, as the days went by, I realized that was his routine.

Feeding the cats, waiting for them to eat to avoid dog attacks, and, if a cat was missing, bringing it to the food.

In response, these little kittens wait for him every morning when he crosses the street.

Just like my cats at home. They are there, faithfully waiting for the person who cares for them.

In a world where everyone seems busy, there is someone who looks beyond. Who goes out to those in need.

Several litters of cats, although some may not be born to the same parents, live together like siblings in some places around the city.

And this is something I've only seen this year. They are larger than usual groups that have managed to survive.

I hadn't realized it until one afternoon, when I took Misu to the vet, I saw them all together. Then, I watched the man do this every morning. At that moment, I understood everything. This man has kept these little ones alive.

Which never happens normally.

Usually, you see a pair of cats, the only survivors of hunger, dogs, mean people, and the various things an animal has to endure on the streets.

So when everything clicked in my mind, it made me smile. Because just like that neighbor I usually greet every day, I also remember the face of every cat on the street, as if it were my neighbor.

I know that thanks to that man, those kittens are alive, that they're doing well, and it makes my heart happy that someone cares about them.

And I also hope to be able to help more animals on the streets one day.

Because in a world where everyone seems busy and worried about everything, there are things that are quite important and require our attention. Just like caring for animals that need it so much.
